Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native services, APIs, and data products for credit risk decisioning.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and resilient software services.
- Contribute to service-domain and event-driven architectures.
- Lead technical design, code reviews, and complex problem solving.
- Champion engineering excellence across testing, observability, and operational readiness.
- Modernize and migrate legacy platforms to cloud-native services.
- Mentor engineers and strengthen engineering capability across the squad.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and operating software at scale.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with distributed systems, streaming, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-native services.
- Ability to work in a “you build it, you run it” environment.
- Interest in AI-enabled engineering and emerging technologies.
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
