Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with business system analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Tune application performance and reduce technical issues.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions aligned with DTCC standards.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and support software applications and production systems.
- Create unit test cases and support compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved development practices.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field and five years of experience in the job or a related position, or a master’s degree in those fields and three years of experience.
- Prior experience with Java and shell scripting.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot or Spring Framework.
- Experience with REST APIs, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Jenkins, batch processing, automation, production support, and enterprise financial systems.

- When not telecommuting, the employee must report to DTCC’s office in Coppell, Texas.
