Base Salary
$100k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable platforms, APIs, and services for connected vehicle experiences.
- Develop Spring Boot and Java APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
- Own services end to end from architecture and implementation through deployment and operations.
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Perform API load and performance testing, integration testing, issue triage, and software refactoring.
- Use DevOps and deployment tools to deploy, improve, and manage software.
- Establish engineering best practices and contribute to technical direction, architecture, and technology adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive responsibility in cloud-based technically aligned functions.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions and critical always-on applications.
- Experience with APIs for system integration and data exchange.
- Knowledge of implementing security considerations in cloud-based software solutions.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud platform and related cloud-native tools.
- Experience with canary deployments and API technologies including JSON, REST, Swagger, and Postman.
- Master’s degree preferred.
