Responsibilities
- Enhance the OCaml type system with new language features.
- Re-engineer the OCaml optimizer from the ground up.
- Implement feedback-directed optimization techniques.
- Develop tools for profiling, debugging, and documentation generation.
- Collaborate with the OCaml community to improve the language and its ecosystem.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience in practical language design and implementation.
- Experience with industrial-strength programming language implementations is preferred.
- Research experience and publications in programming languages are a plus, but not required.
- No prior experience with OCaml or functional programming languages is necessary.
