Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test-result reports.
- Perform manual and functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Create defect reports, track defects to resolution, and communicate impacts and test results.
- Drive testing automation initiatives using scripting languages, automation frameworks, and testing tools.
- Identify requirements gaps, testing impediments, risks, and potential software issues, and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other cross-functional teams throughout project test phases.
- Manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire talent, and support team growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
- Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, gathering requirements, and writing test cases.
- Experience with web services testing and formal software test design techniques.
- Experience with functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
- Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations, plus hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.
- Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
