Base Salary
$145k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack features end to end on new product surfaces, from design through production and measurement
- Build Python backend services that support features at a scale of 6 million daily active users
- Collaborate with product managers and designers on product decisions, scope, and priorities
- Maintain existing systems and perform reliability work as the product grows
- Set technical direction through architecture decisions and work sequencing
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design feedback, and mentoring
Requirements
- Experience shipping full-stack features end to end from problem definition through production
- Strong backend development skills in Python and comfort working across the full stack
- Product-minded approach to defining value, measuring success, and making scope tradeoffs
- Experience raising a team’s technical level through architecture, code review, or mentoring
- React or experience with a similar modern frontend framework is preferred
- Experience at a high-growth startup is preferred
- Experience owning a feature area or product surface is preferred
