Responsibilities
- Define solution architectures aligned with business goals, enterprise strategy, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Lead high-level solution designs, architecture options, governance, and design approvals.
- Translate business and technical requirements into practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
- Drive architectural consistency, quality, reuse, maintainability, and reduction of technical debt across programmes and delivery teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple workstreams.
- Support end-to-end delivery through planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to delivery standards.
- Facilitate alignment across teams and departments and help remove delivery barriers.
- Champion AI awareness, innovation, and future-ready delivery approaches.
Requirements
- Strong experience in solution architecture, software architecture, and enterprise-scale application design.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery initiatives from concept through implementation and transition.
- Expertise in architecture principles, integration approaches, solution patterns, and design best practices.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and Agile delivery environments.
- Experience with architectural governance, design approvals, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and technical direction.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- AWS Solution Architect certification or another relevant cloud certification is desirable.
- Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, React, Angular, REST API-based solutions, architecture frameworks, enterprise architecture methodologies, and modern integration patterns is desirable.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries and in cloud, application modernization, or digital transformation programmes is desirable.
- ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA, and Scrum or Agile-related certification familiarity is desirable.
