Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices across coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve application operational stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams focused on architecture and system integration.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and React skills, plus Python fundamentals and cloud-native application development experience.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and knowledge of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and financial-services IT systems.
- Preferred experience with AWS ECS, EKS, Lambda, Angular or React, AI-powered solutions and frameworks, API-driven development, and event-driven development.
