Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop robust APIs supporting internal platforms and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Integrate databases to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
- Contribute to code quality, performance, security, and practical engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB and ORMs such as Prisma or Sequelize.
- Experience designing and maintaining REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of secure and reliable backend system design.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred: experience with authentication and security concepts, event-driven systems or messaging tools, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
