Responsibilities
- Build and evolve publisher web applications in Angular using a micro-frontend architecture and the company design system.
- Design documented APIs for web and mobile clients and build, maintain, and operate Java backend services.
- Own AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Migrate legacy publisher functionality, separate shared publisher and advertiser applications, and decommission obsolete systems.
- Use AI agents for coding, reviews, testing, migrations, documentation, and reusable team practices.
- Partner with Product and UX to shape pragmatic solutions and challenge scope.
- Improve code quality through reviews, automated testing, security, performance, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot production issues and mentor engineers across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience delivering full-stack features end to end.
- Strong experience with Angular or a similar framework and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot or a similar framework.
- Solid API design experience, including contract-first design, versioning, error handling, authentication, and authorization.
- Hands-on AWS experience and Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform.
- Daily experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor, with the judgment to verify and review their output.
- Strong English communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues across locations.
