Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded firmware modules for Samsung wireless connectivity solutions.
- Implement, unit test, debug, and fix 802.11 MAC features across data and control paths.
- Develop and maintain production-quality firmware for WLAN and UWB chipsets.
- Collaborate with broader teams to deliver end-to-end wireless connectivity features.
- Debug low-level embedded software and custom or proprietary code.
- Use debugging, testing, version control, and wireless laboratory tools to validate and troubleshoot software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s degree with 8+ years, or a PhD with 5+ years in wireless communication technologies.
- Excellent C programming skills in embedded firmware development.
- Experience developing firmware for wireless communication protocols, especially WLAN.
- Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11 MAC/PHY specifications, WLAN standards, and WFA protocols.
- Understanding of Linux, kernel, and device-driver development.
- Ability to debug low-level embedded software and use tools such as Wireshark, WFA test beds, and Git.
- Knowledge of QoS concepts, data-path optimization algorithms, OFDM, OFDMA, beamforming, and RF concepts.
- Fluency with network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and other wireless laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth, UWB, cellular 4G/5G, and Python is preferred but not required.
- Ability to collaborate inclusively, learn with curiosity, and adapt to diverse global working styles.
