Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and support of ATM and payment-switching solutions using ACI BASE24.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, define standards and procedures, and review solution designs, code changes, and deployment plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain BASE24 applications and custom enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support ATM transaction processing, authorization, reconciliation, and settlement.
- Provide Level 3 production support, troubleshoot transaction and performance issues, and coordinate incident resolution.
- Participate in on-call support, major incident management, risk assessments, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity activities.
- Lead project implementation through requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, infrastructure and network teams, and regional teams while maintaining technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, regulatory, quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in ATM and electronic payment systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with ACI BASE24-Classic or BASE24-EPS and ATM transaction-processing or payment-switching environments.
- Proficiency in HP NonStop (Tandem), TACL, TAL, COBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL/MP.
- Experience with ISO 8583 messaging standards and strong troubleshooting and production-support experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred: banking or financial-services experience; knowledge of card management, debit and credit card processing, payment networks, ATM driving, interchange connectivity, and switch integrations.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps, automation, and monitoring tools, plus experience leading regional or geographically distributed teams.
