Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Managers, customers, and peers to understand challenges and complete software tasks.
- Use data to measure, inspect, and drive decisions.
- Design, test, code, and instrument new software solutions.
- Apply and improve TDD, BDD, microservice, and vertical slice engineering practices.
- Support live applications through proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Mentor and learn from peers while fostering continuous learning.
- Learn and apply team processes and best practices with support from peers and a manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least three years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for modern technologies and design.
- Must-have experience with C# and potentially Python.
- Willingness or ability to quickly learn Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Azure, Docker, modern relational databases, ASP.NET, Kafka, and modern web UI frameworks.
