Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage infrastructure that enables the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
  • Identify and eliminate DevOps bottlenecks to improve developer velocity.
  • Maintain Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, explorer reliability, and related systems.
  • Improve Tempo’s core developer experience.
  • Help onboard enterprise customers into crypto by educating them and assisting with validator operation.
  • Work on infrastructure at the frontier of crypto performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience maintaining and scaling bare-metal servers and cloud environments for production systems.
  • Proficiency building tooling and scripts with Rust, Go, or Python.
  • Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production and using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
  • Experience deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana, including securing and hardening those systems.
  • Knowledge of Linux and networking, with the ability to troubleshoot Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, particularly the Ethereum ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, organizational, logistical, analytical, curious, and adaptable working qualities.
