
Lead Software Engineer
BroadridgeResponsibilities
- Review user requirements with business analysts to ensure delivered products meet user expectations.
- Perform system analysis, effort estimation, software design, development, maintenance, and technical architecture contributions.
- Track and review developer tasks for quality and timely completion, and report delays or inefficiencies to management.
- Provide real-time functional and technical support to corporate clients, including crisis response and recommended solutions or workarounds.
- Provide input to product release management and development prioritization, and manage enhancement execution and delivery.
- Assist with product documentation and provide training on technical changes.
- Evaluate third-party software and provide recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of application development experience with iSeries (IBM i).
- Hands-on experience with ILE-RPG, RPG Free, CL, DB2, SQL, and IBM MQ Series.
- Experience with Java, Node.js, React, message mapping tools, and APIs is a plus.
- Familiarity with iSeries-based code management systems such as ALDON CMS or similar.
- Knowledge of Git and experience in client support.
- Knowledge and experience in the capital markets domain, including bonds and equities, is a plus.
