Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for the team and determine when to simplify or extend solutions.
- Mentor and lead developers while cultivating technical understanding and knowledge sharing.
- Clarify technical requirements, assess development estimates, and apply broad design approaches independently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch scalable and maintainable software.
- Drive continuous improvement of software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
- Stay current with technology trends, tools, approaches, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with an interest in web applications and services design and architecture.
- Experience or interest in SEO, security, Amazon SNS, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudWatch, REST services, and JavaScript.
- Ability to own deliverables end-to-end, influence technical direction, and work collaboratively with engineering and product teams.
- Ability to mentor developers and lead technical strategy.
