Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, high-performing software solutions.
- Build and maintain production-grade code, mentor engineers, and review engineering work.
- Drive architecture decisions supporting scalability, resiliency, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Automate operational processes and eliminate recurring issues to improve platform stability and efficiency.
- Develop data-intensive and statistical solutions using Java and Scala on large-scale datasets.
- Design and build AI-enabled applications, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
- Work across AWS, Databricks, and Kubernetes-based data ecosystems.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and continuous validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-standard end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- Significant software engineering experience with formal training or equivalent practical expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with working knowledge of SQL and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven, and API-first architecture patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and infrastructure as code.
- Expertise in REST, GraphQL, API design, and integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience building applications on AWS or other public cloud platforms.
- Experience with generative AI systems, RAG architecture, AI orchestration frameworks, LLM evaluation, guardrails, content filtering, and responsible AI practices.
- Deep expertise in Java, object-oriented design, and system design.
- Preferred experience with Elasticsearch, Oracle, MongoDB, modern data platforms, AI-enabled applications, agentic architecture, and reusable AI agent skills or frameworks.
