Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications aligned with product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance activities and identify opportunities for platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer needs with organizational health.
- Identify application improvements and provide actionable technical recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and assist and mentor development staff.
- Provide technical direction, facilitate engineering conversations, and help build learning-oriented, successful teams.
- Communicate clearly with executive leadership, stakeholders, peers, and development teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of .NET full-stack development experience is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and implementation or enhancement of systems.
- Significant experience in analytical system engineering design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products using microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains, with the ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps knowledge, application monitoring and performance assessment experience, security architecture and protocols knowledge, and AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud experience.
