Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to architecture and development of enterprise Java applications.
- Provide technical guidance on design and implementation across distributed teams.
- Develop full-stack enterprise applications across client and server components.
- Modernize and modularize legacy forensic systems and develop new platforms.
- Design and optimize backend services, data models, integration logic, and high-performance processing.
- Define software architecture and contribute to technical concepts, decomposition, and design patterns.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage containerized environments and support production stability, performance profiling, and JVM tuning.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Support team mobilization, onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer across delivery centers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of enterprise Java development and DevOps experience.
- Proven experience in software architecture and hands-on development.
- Experience with Java 11 or Java 17, Java EE or Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, WildFly, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, CriteriaBuilder, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Maven, or Eclipse Tycho.
- Knowledge of enterprise software architecture, object-oriented development, clean code, design patterns, application modularization, and legacy system evolution.
- Experience working in regulated or complex operational environments such as forensics or LIMS is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, analytical problem-solving, communication, writing, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
