Base Salary
$152k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and debug secure, high-quality production software focused on mobile automation.
- Conduct mobile browser and native application testing across devices, simulators, and mobile cloud platforms.
- Plan and coordinate test activities, develop test cases and scenarios, execute testing across all phases, and manage defect resolution.
- Improve application operational stability, performance, design, functionality, and technical processes.
- Drive responsible adoption, governance, validation, and reuse of AI-assisted engineering and automation practices.
- Contribute to engineering standards, frameworks, tools, and software development lifecycle practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with mobile native applications and mobile test automation.
- Experience with one or more of Android SDK, iOS Xcode, Swift, Calabash, Appium, or Genymotion.
- Experience with accessibility testing for web and mobile native applications.
- Experience managing test scenarios and executing IST, smoke, functional, integration, UAT, in-sprint automation, regression automation, and production testing.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, including coaching senior engineers and leads.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight and serve as a function-wide subject matter expert.
- Preferred experience with Perfecto, Experitest-SeeTest, MobileLabs, Sage, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, Java, Gherkin, and cloud-native development.
