Principal Solutions Architect, AI
Trend MicroResponsibilities
- Serve as the primary AI security technical subject matter expert for the US Solutions Engineering organization and support strategic opportunities end-to-end.
- Architect and present solutions spanning AI infrastructure, AI application, and public-facing AI application security.
- Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and proof-of-concept engagements for major AI security opportunities.
- Build and maintain reference architectures, demo environments, and reusable enablement content.
- Deliver executive and technical presentations to CISOs, security architects, and AI/ML engineering leaders.
- Partner with Product Management to communicate field and customer feedback for the AI security roadmap.
- Track the competitive AI security landscape and maintain positioning and battlecards.
- Mentor and upskill Solutions Engineers and Architects on AI security, demonstrations, and objection handling.
- Represent TrendAI at industry events, webinars, and analyst briefings.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of experience in security architecture, solutions engineering, or a related pre-sales technical role.
- Requires strong knowledge of AI/ML system architecture, including model training and serving infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and cloud AI services.
- Requires hands-on understanding of LLM application security risks, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, and model extraction or theft.
- Requires experience securing public-facing applications and APIs, including API security, WAF, and exposure management.
- Requires familiarity with CSPM, CNAPP, or equivalent cloud-native security tooling.
- Requires excellent executive presentation, communication, and technical storytelling skills.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Trend Vision One or comparable XDR/CNAPP experience, security certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, AI security PoC and demo experience, familiarity with LangChain, AutoGen, and MCP, and prior customer-facing solutions architecture or field CTO experience.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
