Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise customers on the design, validation, and deployment of VMware Kubernetes Service solutions on VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Collaborate with field account teams and sales to align solution architectures, develop proposals, and advance customer opportunities.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts for Kubernetes architectures.
- Provide guidance on Kubernetes adoption, CI/CD integration, scalability, security, disaster recovery, and enterprise DevOps requirements.
- Build reference architectures, deployment patterns, and technical assets to accelerate customer adoption.
- Deliver technical presentations to architects, executives, and other business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide field feedback to product management and engineering and stay current on industry and competitor trends.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in technology-related roles, with depth in enterprise IT architecture, application modernization, or cloud-native platforms.
- Experience in application engineering, consulting, or technical sales for enterprise IT, cloud, or application platforms.
- Strong expertise in containers, a leading Kubernetes distribution, and VMware Cloud Foundation technologies.
- Demonstrated success working directly with enterprise customers to deliver technical solutions and drive platform adoption.
- Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, collaboration, solution-design, and business-value articulation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of VMware products and Kubernetes platforms.
- Cloud-native or public-cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, Red Hat RHCA, or Red Hat RHCE are highly desirable.
- Thought leadership experience and specialization in Telco, FSI, or LATAM are a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
