Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise-wide technology solutions across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, and AI capabilities.
- Develop architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance artifacts for assigned portfolios.
- Create technical solution designs and recommendations aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
- Lead hybrid and cloud-native architecture using AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and industry trends, and conduct proofs of concept and technology assessments.
- Ensure designs meet security, regulatory, risk management, compliance, resilience, scalability, and availability requirements.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and integration challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles from business case development through implementation.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and senior leaders on strategic technology objectives.
- Lead architecture reviews, support enterprise transformation programs, and advise senior leadership on technology strategy, cloud adoption, AI, and enterprise architecture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology architecture roles.
- Mandatory experience in banking, financial services, wealth management, insurance, or capital markets.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise technology solutions in complex, highly regulated environments.
- Experience supporting cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Experience incorporating AI, machine learning, or generative AI capabilities into enterprise technology solutions.
- Strong expertise architecting solutions on AWS and Microsoft Azure, including hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
- Expertise in enterprise application architecture, systems integration, APIs, and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, modern data platforms, security architecture, identity management, encryption, and regulatory controls.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, and technology strategy development.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, consulting, and executive influence skills.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise AI strategy, Generative AI, Responsible AI, AI governance frameworks, modern data architecture, analytics, cloud-native development, and large-scale digital transformation in financial institutions.
