Responsibilities

  • Administer Oracle DRM and EDM Cloud applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, properties, nodes, glyphs, viewpoints, node types, applications, and governance models.
  • Lead or support the implementation and migration from on-premises DRM to EDM Cloud, including environment setup, application and adapter configuration, dimension modeling, workflow design, testing, and controlled cutover.
  • Build and maintain derived properties, expressions, formulas, and scripting logic across DRM and EDM Cloud.
  • Design and maintain validations, business rules, data quality checks, workflow approvals, subscriptions, request types, request sets, and audit tracking.
  • Manage enterprise metadata lifecycle activities, including hierarchy maintenance, alternate hierarchies, version control, lineage, data stewardship, auditability, and SOX-compliant change documentation.
  • Develop and support metadata integrations with Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud EPM, Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, OIC, data warehouses, reporting platforms, and other downstream systems.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, synchronization issues, mapping errors, workflow problems, validation defects, and metadata processing issues.
  • Manage Oracle EDM Cloud monthly updates by reviewing release notes, assessing impacts, executing regression testing, and coordinating production changes.
  • Use AI-assisted diagnostics, anomaly detection, automation, and analytics to improve data quality, governance efficiency, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Explain technical metadata, governance, and integration concepts to finance, IT, audit, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle DRM experience, with experience in master data management, hierarchy management, metadata governance, and data quality.
  • Experience configuring DRM or EDM Cloud dimensions, hierarchies, properties, nodes, viewpoints, validations, workflows, subscriptions, request types, and related metadata objects.
  • Experience with DRM formulas or scripting and familiarity with EDM Cloud expression logic for derived properties and transformation rules.
  • Knowledge of integrations involving Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud EPM, Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, OIC, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and downstream systems.
  • Experience with ERP metadata synchronization and mappings across ledger accounts, cost centers, entities, alternate hierarchies, and reporting structures.
  • Oracle EDM Cloud implementation, configuration, administration, application adapter, or migration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with EDM Cloud pre-packaged adapters, including Oracle ERP Cloud, EPM Planning, FCCS, HFM, Essbase, or universal adapters, is preferred.
  • Experience supporting or executing a DRM-to-EDM Cloud migration is a significant plus.
  • Experience using SQL and/or PL/SQL for querying, stored procedures, triggers, data validation, and repository or backend troubleshooting.
  • Experience with AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools for metadata analysis, documentation, expression logic, impact assessment, or anomaly identification.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, responsible AI use, AI limitations, data privacy, SOX and audit requirements, and AI/ML applications to master data governance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and production support skills.
