Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software engineers while fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive solution design, architecture reviews, technical decisions, technology roadmaps, and solution strategies.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, including responsive frontends and backend services.
- Translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions and design RESTful APIs, GraphQL integrations, and event-driven solutions.
- Design database schemas and lead performance optimization, production readiness, troubleshooting, incident resolution, monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives.
- Establish engineering standards, coding practices, development methodologies, secure software development practices, and quality controls.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality, security, maintainability, and performance standards.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and drive CI/CD adoption, deployment automation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and leading delivery of scalable cloud-native applications.
- Experience with frontend development using Angular or React and backend development using Java or Node.js.
- Knowledge of solution architecture, system design, object-oriented programming, design principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure fundamentals, DevSecOps, and deployment automation.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, and Kafka-based integrations.
- Knowledge of automated testing, application monitoring, logging, observability, performance engineering, and security best practices.
- Experience with technical leadership, team mentoring, stakeholder management, delivery ownership, roadmap planning, Agile leadership, requirement analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred experience includes GraphQL, front-end observability, personalization engines, design token automation, Confluent Kafka, analytics-driven experimentation, A/B testing platforms, AI engineering, agentic AI patterns and frameworks, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, platform engineering, and cloud modernization programs.
