Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Oodle’s observability product from the ground up
- Optimize the software stack and database engine for cost, performance, and scale
- Experiment rapidly to identify customer needs and build software accordingly
- Talk to customers, eliminate ambiguity, and prioritize impactful product and technical decisions
- Help establish company culture and grow the engineering team
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems, database systems, or storage systems
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Java, C, C++, Scala, Python, or Rust
- Entrepreneurial mindset, startup orientation, strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment
- Experience architecting observability systems from the ground up is a plus
- Familiarity with distributed systems, storage systems, caching systems, LLMs, or AI is a plus
