Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead application security across the payment platform, including secure code review and threat modeling.
- Own product security for new payment rails and compliance features.
- Design and implement DevSecOps tooling and automation to enhance security posture.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
- Drive security architecture decisions for APIs and data protection controls.
- Build monitoring capabilities for application-layer threats and fraud patterns.
- Design infrastructure monitoring and remediation practices.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to meet regulatory requirements.
- Influence technical strategy on security and risk management.
Requirements
- 6+ years in security engineering, with 3+ years focused on application and product security.
- Strong experience in full-stack application security, authentication systems, and identity management.
- Experience with infrastructure automation related to security, including AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention in payment products.
- Familiarity with secure SDLC practices and developer security tooling.
- Experience with incident response and security monitoring.
- Knowledge of application security for Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and containerized environments.
- Payments engineering experience, particularly in fraud prevention.
