Base Salary

$154k - $229k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own technical engagement and ultimate success for customer implementation projects.
  • Define implementation architectures and help customers design and create cloud computing solutions.
  • Identify and resolve technical escalations before they become project blockers.
  • Advise EdTech customers on AWS cloud, AI/ML, Generative AI, data, security, networking, and application architectures.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and collaborate with system integrators, solution providers, sales, and business development teams.
  • Provide technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, design discussions, and thought leadership to customers and internal teams.
  • Capture and share best practices, develop reusable assets, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the AWS Solutions Architect community.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience with technical presentations, whiteboarding, and small- and large-group presentations.
  • Technical web services development or deployment, cloud computing, AI/ML, or Generative AI experience is preferred.
  • Experience with website or service operations, management, and security.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with data and AI technologies, including AI/ML, Generative AI, analytics, databases, or storage is preferred.
  • Experience with end-user or developer communities and Education or EdTech customers is preferred.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, or FERPA is preferred.
  • Experience with data and analytics architectures, including data lakes, streaming, and business intelligence solutions, is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25–30%.
