Responsibilities
- Drive production-level cloud solutions aligned with customer and Microsoft strategy.
- Lead digital transformation and modernization projects for enterprise customers.
- Guide customers through solution envisioning, benefits definition, workload and methodology selection, project scoping, and sizing.
- Provide architectural and technical leadership throughout complex presales and delivery engagements.
- Assess risks, review proposals, identify service development opportunities, and support winning services proposals.
- Oversee solution deployments and ensure business value, delivery quality, and customer and partner satisfaction.
- Coordinate Microsoft and partner teams to deliver solutions within the defined scope of work.
- Develop business through services sales, mentoring, talent pipeline development, community evangelism, and Azure Community assets.
- Drive operational excellence and innovation across customer engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 12 years of related IT experience in solution architecture for enterprise-scale customers.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture design, database migrations, and technology management.
- Experience supporting presales on large deals, technical consulting, complex solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and team management.
- Demonstrated engagement and stakeholder management, senior-level communication, business-domain and technical conversations, and trusted relationships with CxO, ITDM, and BDM stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, including subscription design, identity and access management, networking, storage, monitoring, and compute.
- Knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS migration, application architecture, greenfield deployment, application optimization, and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps tools, development environments, and relevant cloud frameworks.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- The role may require travel.
