Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for software products and applications.
- Perform automated unit, integration, functional, API, database, regression, smoke, black-box, and system testing.
- Review requirements and design artifacts and create test cases with extensive application coverage.
- Identify, diagnose, and remediate software defects and improve the overall testing process.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Translate business and functional requirements into concrete testing results and articulate business value.
- Provide project coordination and technical management support within a business-aligned development squad.
- Establish expertise in the business areas, systems, and platforms being supported.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and tools including CloudBees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, and Jira.
- Expertise in backend test automation using Rest Assured or Karate for API testing.
- Experience with JDBC or JPA for database testing with Oracle, DB2, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, including writing sophisticated SQL queries.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies including unit, integration, functional, smoke, black-box, non-black-box, and regression testing.
- Experience in software development, Agile or Waterfall environments, and onsite/offshore coordination.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
