Responsibilities
- Implement core logic and pipeline integrations for shared technology features.
- Integrate Advanced Technology Group technologies into active game-team environments.
- Analyze and optimize runtime performance, including load times and frame rates.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide feedback on tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, QA/QV, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Must remain enrolled in an accredited degree program and graduate in May 2028 or later.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for the entire internship.
- Ability to read, write, and debug clean, maintainable C++ code.
- Understanding of geometry, linear algebra, calculus, and physics applied to 3D transformations and motion.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Entry-level software engineering experience through internships, coursework, or personal projects is valued.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, automated testing frameworks or tools, multithreaded systems, or runtime performance analysis is preferred.
- Interest in sports games, character creation, and user-generated content is preferred.
