Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, software engineers, and animators to develop gameplay features for EA SPORTS FC.
  • Develop tools and workflows that improve productivity and help designers and animators implement gameplay concepts.
  • Prototype new gameplay mechanics and refine existing ones.
  • Use a proprietary engine to develop modular, robust, and shareable code.
  • Help develop and maintain AI and animation technology for AAA gaming.
  • Provide project, game, or tool examples and describe personal contributions during the application process.

Requirements

  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada for the entire internship.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program and return to school for at least one semester after the internship.
  • Be graduating in May 2028 or later, including the internship period.
  • Currently pursue an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Have entry-level experience through prior internships, coursework, or personal C++ projects.
  • Be proficient in C++.
  • Understand object-oriented programming and have used vector math or trigonometry in a project.
  • Know good software programming practices and 3D math concepts such as vectors and linear transformations.
  • Clearly indicate the expected graduation date on the resume and submit a cover letter explaining interest in the FC team and a notable C++ project.
