Responsibilities
- Build and roll out features for the Node.js and MUSE frameworks.
- Provide direct support to developers by debugging issues and triaging requests in Slack channels.
- Manage monthly releases, Node.js runtime upgrades, and software upgrades.
- Enhance software upgrade tooling and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines using NPM, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Integrate frameworks with eBay systems, including SSO, cloud services, logging, metrics, and security.
- Conduct performance testing and maintain platform security through regular open-source security upgrades.
- Collaborate with US-based Frameworks team counterparts to deliver the product roadmap and improve developer platforms.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Knowledge of Webpack and Vite.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with developer tooling and workflows.
- Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
