Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems by building reliable, well-tested, resilient, and observable software.
- Develop, test, deploy, and own Python backend microservices.
- Shape architectural decisions so systems scale while remaining maintainable.
- Improve team code quality through reviews and clear, documented code.
- Deliver outcomes with engineers and Product Managers as part of a product team.
- Improve team processes and influence technical and strategic direction.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining backend systems and cloud microservices; Python experience is preferred, though strong experience in another language is accepted.
- Strong applied knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, refactoring, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working understanding of SQL and document databases.
- Ability to work independently, take business and product ownership, and adapt as requirements evolve.
- Curiosity and willingness to use and learn AI tools daily.
