Responsibilities
- Build and refine standardized UI components with strong quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
- Conduct code reviews and implementation reviews to ensure design consistency and pixel-perfect execution.
- Publish, document, and maintain components in the centralized design-system library.
- Integrate design-system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
- Consult with and mentor engineering teams on design-system usage and extension best practices.
- Create live prototypes and proofs of concept to validate new UI patterns, workflows, and paradigms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in frontend or UI engineering.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
- Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale.
- Experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
- Comfort with rapid prototyping and experimentation.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
- Expertise with AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT.
- Proficiency in Figma, including design-to-code interpretation and component architecture collaboration.
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar environments.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and UI performance optimization.
- Strong attention to design quality and ability to communicate with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains is preferred.
