Responsibilities
- Design test plans by reviewing code changes, identifying key scenarios, and assessing impact areas.
- Build reusable automated test scripts with developers and review unit and functional test scripts.
- Execute and analyze tests, identify coverage gaps, create additional scripts, and report transparent test metrics.
- Support customer-reported issue resolution and assist with bug fixes.
- Collaborate with the team on project planning and execution to improve delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of software testing experience focused on automation.
- Ability to understand and write code using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit.
- Experience using a defect tracking system, code repositories, and IDEs.
- Strong interest in software quality assurance, issue detection, and analysis.
- Experience in a SaaS-based product company or fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
