Responsibilities
- Design, refine, and optimize system prompts, grounding instructions, response constraints, and other prompt patterns.
- Engineer multi-turn conversational flows with role-based prompting, structured reasoning, RAG, guardrails, and hallucination-reduction patterns.
- Build and configure Microsoft Copilot Studio agents using topics, triggers, entities, actions, plugins, variables, and orchestration logic.
- Integrate agents with enterprise data sources, APIs, workflows, and assurance tools while following security and access-control standards.
- Execute prompt validation, negative and edge-case testing, evaluation criteria, regression checks, and output-quality assessments.
- Document prompt logic, assumptions, limitations, human-in-the-loop controls, and certification or engagement-readiness requirements.
- Lead adoption and change through rollout plans, prompt playbooks, enablement materials, training, stakeholder communications, and feedback-driven iteration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field focused on AI-enabled product development and automation.
- 4–7 years of overall engineering experience, including 2–3 years of generative AI experience.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering for LLM-based systems and building solutions with Microsoft Copilot and/or Copilot Studio, Python, and LangGraph.
- Understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, risks, evaluation techniques, prompt patterns, tool-use prompting, and interaction design.
- Experience translating complex business or regulatory requirements into structured AI interactions, conversation flows, guardrails, and fallback patterns.
- Experience orchestrating multi-step interactions and integrating enterprise-grade AI experiences with APIs, services, and grounded data.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models with cross-functional global teams.
- Preferred experience with RAG patterns, vector search, enterprise data grounding, Azure services, API-based integrations, AI governance, risk management, or model validation frameworks.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
