Responsibilities
- Participate on a team delivering new functionality and improving processes, systems, and applications supporting TD Securities businesses.
- Produce high-quality code and use appropriate tools for testing, debugging, maintenance, and post-production support.
- Develop applications and solutions according to consistent quality standards and support testing cycles and deployment.
- Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with customers, business partners, stakeholders, and team members.
- Work on financial technology projects such as trade capture, derivatives pricing and risk management, PNL, quantitative modeling, algorithmic execution and hedging, big data analytics, electronic trading, straight-through processing, and valuations.
Requirements
- Graduate between December 2027 and May 2029 while pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Pursue a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Technology Sciences.
- Demonstrate strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, basic SDLC knowledge, and effective verbal and written communication.
- Work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with customers, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Have familiarity with at least one of the listed technologies, including JavaScript, Angular, React, SQL, NoSQL, C++, C#, Java, Scala, Python, Node.js, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or ZeroMQ.
- Have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status; prior finance knowledge is not required.
