Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, integrate, and sustain secure software solutions within DoD environments.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications across mission-focused systems and networks.
- Integrate software into Department of Navy environments using microservices and service mesh technologies.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and support secure software delivery, release management, and deployment automation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Administer Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with government, contractor, and technical teams on development and deployment efforts.
- Maintain deployment guides, technical procedures, documentation, and operational artifacts.
Requirements
- At least five years of DoD systems engineering experience.
- Experience deploying software within the Overmatch Software Armory or a comparable DoD DevSecOps pipeline.
- Experience integrating containerized software into Department of Navy networks and computing environments such as CANES.
- Experience with microservice architectures and/or service mesh technologies.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or TS/SCI eligibility with a completed Tier 5 investigation at the time of submission.
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or intermediate CSWF baseline certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or an equivalent approved certification.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Buildah, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments.
- Experience scripting with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
- Experience supporting or developing full-stack applications using Java, Python, TypeScript, React, and SQL.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Strong understanding of secure software deployment, system integration, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration.
- Preferred experience supporting Department of Navy programs, classified or mission-critical DevSecOps environments, CANES, service mesh technologies, and cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, or DevSecOps certifications.
