Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, product owners, and domain experts on enterprise Generative AI initiatives.
- Assist with the development and deployment of AI solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in co-developing an LLM Platform-as-a-Service with product engineering teams.
- Develop scalable, reusable services supporting Generative AI-powered applications.
- Maintain production systems to support high availability and performance.
- Experiment with Large Language Model deployments including vLLM and LiteLLM.
- Contribute to platform application development using CAP or Python FastAPI.
- Engage stakeholders to understand internal business processes and challenges.
- Experiment with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows.
- Evaluate new machine learning and Generative AI technologies for business applications.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Available for a full-time internship lasting at least three months.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Git.
- Experience with Generative AI technical stacks, including agent frameworks and RAG, and applying them in real-world projects.
- Experience with Python-based AI/ML frameworks, specifically LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, independent working, ownership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Backend development experience with NodeJS or FastAPI is a plus.
- Frontend framework experience with Vue, React, or Angular is a plus.
- Deployment experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- SAP UI5 or Open UI5 experience is a plus.
- Experience deploying applications on SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.
