Lead Software Engineer Data Engineer

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architectures.
- Apply domain modeling and modern software design practices to build clear, testable, and evolvable business products.
- Write, review, and debug high-quality production code while maintaining engineering standards.
- Investigate operational issues, implement preventive fixes, and automate remediation of recurring problems.
- Architect for scalability, reliability, resilience, performance, and zero-downtime releases while optimizing data performance.
- Modernize technologies and patterns to reduce technical debt and maintain current systems.
- Lead communities of practice and promote adoption of leading-edge software engineering technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, operational support, and microservices-based applications.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Flask, or Django.
- For full-stack work, proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to share best practices and drive broader organizational impact.
- Banking domain experience and AWS certification are preferred.
