Responsibilities
- Advise customers and identify opportunities aligned with their business objectives.
- Conduct business reviews to understand customer challenges and communicate how Rubrik solutions address them.
- Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers in support of sales objectives.
- Create battle cards, videos, white papers, infographics, blogs, and other internal and external content.
- Participate in sales and systems engineering calls with prospective and existing customers.
- Collaborate with account teams to prepare for client meetings and strategic discussions.
- Create value-based proposals using total cost of ownership and return on investment models.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops highlighting Rubrik’s technical capabilities and business value.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position Rubrik effectively.
- Conduct objective security assessments and recommend enhancements to improve customers’ security posture.
- Provide competitive intelligence and product requirements to product management as a field representative.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in pre-sales or account management within a software or data center environment.
- Understanding of security and data protection fundamentals is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Ability to work with multiple decision-makers and present technical and business material to small and large audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across departments in a deadline-driven environment.
- Adaptable, open-minded, resourceful, and comfortable working autonomously.
