Senior Software Engineer - Network Analytics Platform

Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables across multiple development efforts.
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable applications, services, APIs, and data-driven solutions.
- Build reusable software components, integration frameworks, and automation capabilities for enterprise network analytics and observability.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, design discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and long-term engineering roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues while supporting reliability, performance, security, monitoring, and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to automated testing, software quality practices, release management, delivery automation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead projects, serve as a technical escalation point, and mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with network engineers, architects, data engineers, platform engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of experience developing applications with JavaScript and Python.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience building analytical, reporting, observability, or telemetry-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, application architecture, secure coding, system resiliency, high availability, and performance optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues.
- Preferred experience in large enterprise environments, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, scalable APIs, backend applications, and database technologies.
- Preferred experience implementing DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and mentoring engineers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
