Responsibilities
- Create APAC- and country-specific positioning for Google Cloud's infrastructure modernization platform and drive adoption.
- Conduct technical engagements and pilots around infrastructure modernization solutions.
- Help customer engineers and specialists understand the infrastructure modernization landscape in each country.
- Advise customers on implementation timelines, change-management implications, and related topics.
- Share solution successes across sub-regions through community forums, partner meetups, analyst events, microsites, and newsletters.
- Build working relationships with account teams, sales leadership, professional services, product management, solution management, global system integrator partners, and executive staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in pre-sales or engineering related to cloud technology and architectures.
- Experience planning infrastructure modernization as a technical consultant, technical engineer, or enterprise architect.
- Experience in an enterprise customer-facing role.
- Experience with networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, Domain Name System, and virtual private networks.
- Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure products across compute, storage, and networking, including VPC and WAN.
- Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills.
