Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams on account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
- Advise customers on software development, continuous integration and deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and support platform adoption.
- Represent customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar solution design and evaluation roles.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
- Experience leading proofs of concept or value, tenders, audits, workshops, or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer advocacy skills.
- Experience in the MEA region and proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to travel at least 25%.
