Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput payment processing systems with strict reliability and correctness requirements.
- Build merchant-facing APIs and SDKs for integrating Coinflow into external platforms.
- Develop real-time fraud detection and risk management features.
- Architect and scale systems, including database queries, caching, service communication, monitoring, alerting, and debugging.
- Deliver features end-to-end from technical design through deployment and iteration.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams on technical solutions and tradeoffs.
- Contribute to architecture, tooling, engineering best practices, code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; React experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of relational and document databases, especially MongoDB, and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience building high-volume or highly correct production systems and maintaining them after launch.
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and containerized deployments.
- Strong communication skills for discussing technical tradeoffs with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or blockchain/crypto is a bonus.
