Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Enable engineering teams through platforms, tooling, guardrails, and support that reduce manual and ticket-driven work.
- Advance operational support toward automated and AI-driven self-service with appropriate approvals and controls.
- Lead projects from problem definition and design through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Drive technical decisions and improvements across application code, infrastructure, and partner teams.
- Design and operate secure systems using least privilege, defense in depth, and security-finding remediation.
- Build and operate cloud infrastructure, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality gates, and cloud solutions.
- Partner with feature, AIOps, and AI Platform teams to integrate capabilities into CloudOps workflows.
- Work across frontend and backend components while maintaining strong ownership of cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Use AI-assisted tools for design, coding, troubleshooting, and test generation while validating generated output.
- Participate in iterative planning, Kanban delivery, code review, risk identification, and cross-department collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
- At least 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, and operating enterprise cloud solutions, production infrastructure, and CI/CD.
- Strong security engineering experience involving secure-by-design practices, IAM, least privilege, networking, TLS, secrets and key management, data protection, and security remediation.
- Knowledge of object-oriented principles, algorithms, problem solving, complexity analysis, cloud methodologies, automation, orchestration, and cloud vendor services.
- Experience implementing high-performance, highly available, reliable, and secure systems using AWS services.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, serverless technologies, container technologies, web and API development, and hybrid on-premises/cloud integration.
- Experience reducing operational toil through automation, infrastructure as code, guardrails, and AI-driven self-service.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Amazon Q, or Copilot.
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, Strands, AgentCore, model-access security, cost and quota management, and multi-account AWS governance is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous environments.
- A four-year college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
