Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of integration and system integrator platforms.
- Define architectural patterns, best practices, technology standards, and scalable modular solutions.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tools for platform needs.
- Oversee integrations with internal and third-party systems while ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and system failures.
- Maintain architecture and process documentation.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on architectural principles and practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for potential platform impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant software development and architecture experience focused on platforms or large-scale systems.
- Experience building event-driven applications at scale and working with large-scale messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience building platform components with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, data storage, and integration methodologies.
- Experience with SaaS platform architecture or development.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for enterprise software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and Agile-environment experience.
- Experience using Augment, Cursor, or Claude Code.
