Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable full-stack .NET solutions.
- Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions and enterprise application integrations.
- Build AI-powered agents supporting context retrieval, multi-source reasoning, action recommendations, and human-in-the-loop automation.
- Develop and deploy backend services, microservices, and integrations across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Maintain Azure Synapse ETL pipelines delivering data to downstream systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code and design reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Support CI/CD workflows, build and release improvements, and cloud infrastructure operations.
- Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, estimation, and related team processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience focused on .NET Core.
- 3+ years of experience leading a software engineering team.
- Knowledge of HR and Workday business processes.
- Experience building AI/LLM applications, preferably with agentic workflows, including RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt design, context retrieval, and LLM evaluation.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI governance, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, evaluation metrics, and human approval workflows.
- Experience with .NET hosted services for queuing and background-job orchestration.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure, IaC pipelines, DevOps, site reliability, AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong Angular proficiency and experience building scalable backend services in hybrid environments.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating Workday, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft Graph.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server, including stored procedures.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Data Mesh architecture is preferred.
- Strong monitoring and observability background and knowledge of .NET modernization strategies are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex distributed systems.
