Base Salary
$155k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize database performance and reliability for PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
- Manage message queue infrastructure to ensure optimal throughput.
- Develop tools that accelerate engineering velocity.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Architect monitoring and observability solutions.
- Drive security and compliance initiatives.
- Establish SLOs and ensure services meet reliability targets.
- Design and maintain the container orchestration layer.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 in platform engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS services.
- Proven track record with infrastructure as code tools, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with message queue systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Understanding of security best practices.
- Expertise with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills.
